the taberner award
A memorial fund has been set up for our friend and colleague, Wynne Taberner, who sadly died last year after a short illness.
After much discussion and consultation with Wynne’s family, we have decided on an annual special achievement award in the form of a trophy. It will be called “The Taberner Award”. A plaque will be given to the winner to keep.
The Award willl be presented to someone – child, adult, volunteer or staff member, who has made an exceptional contribution to the Society during the year.
Nominations by members of the Society should be received by 1st September each year. Nominations will be judged by the Board of Trustees and the winner will be announced at the AGM.
